If you are ever in England there are a (very) few places worth checking out.

    Edamame, Oxford
    http://www.edamame.freeserve.co.uk/
Makes the curry I first fell in love with, but only at lunch times and only on certain days, and you have to wait in line sometimes it is so good! Goes for the homecooked aproach with reasonable chunnks of vegetables and a ground pork curry base. No cheese sorry, but you do get a choice of chicken or pork katsu and a miso soup and a cup of tea included.

    Tokyo Season, Manchester

Makes curry in various forms which are hidden away in unexpected places inside its menu. The curry sauce is just on the right side of thin, but could be thicker.

Avoid Wagamama's curry like the plague!

Hopefully I'll find some more places worth mentioning in the UK as I continue my quest to try every Japanese curry in the world. I'm very envious of all the American curry places!

If anyone knows of any good UK places for curry I'd love to hear about them!
