Hello! I've tried a couple different boxed curry recipes and NONE ever taste like my favorite---Go Go Curry of NYC! Does anyone have a link to a REAL DEAL SERIOUS TASTY recipe? The creamy brown spicy sweet goodness! I really need to be able to make this stuff from scratch! Any help would be super appreciated. I've seen some recipes online, but they all seem quite different and call for boxed ingredients, so I don't trust them.

I can't wait to see the Americurry recipe!
In the meantime, I've learned (from watching my wife make curry) that you can cook all your goodies like a beef stew and simmer that for hours til the meat is tender. Add anything else you'd like (potatoes usually for us). Then put in your curry kind of near serving. She also adds other flavorings depending on mood, like ketchup, Worcestershire, dry curry powder, etc. Of course, the curry is always better on days 2 and 3!
